A playful design intervention for children with dyslexia to enhance literacy skills
This project tackles childhood dyslexia through a captivating AR learning experience. Using AR glasses, children enters a 3D animated world during storytelling activities, boosting engagement and focus on the presented letters and numbers. This approach is inspired by Christian Boer's dyslexia-friendly font design. The experience goes beyond storytelling, incorporating a "visual replay" feature. Here, children use hand gestures to interact with the AR environment, recreating what they've seen in the story. These gestures are then displayed in 3D within the headset, fostering a deeper understanding and a lifelong love for learning.

"I am Inquisitive, an Explorer, Visual Thinker, Executor and a Go- getter. Diving into untouched realms of knowledge and painting out my thoughts onto a canvas are my go to leisure activities. Hustling to push my boundaries by trying out new things and gaining new experiences. Just like the skeletal system provides a frame to the body over which detailing is done by muscle and skin, my thoughts are firmly grounded onto which I let the brush of my creativity run free.
Finding beauty in abstractness and I try to channelise that into every piece of my work. I strongly believe that the best way to solve a problem is by facing it."
