Challenging Boundries
Coffee table
The idea of this coffee table is to explore the characteristics of wood, stretching the boundries of the material, to get a unique form. It brings dynamism to an object that is generally considered to be static and reflects a singular plane in motion. Crafted out of flexible plywood and glass, the sillhoutte is organic and flowing. The form provides three spaces to support objects and artefacts of interest.

Diya Aggarwal
My practice lies at the intersection of design research and lived experience. I study how people inhabit, adapt to, and reimagine the spaces around them—from quiet interiors to public grounds.
Guided by curiosity and contextual sensitivity, I see design as a conversation between material, memory, and the human body—a process of shaping atmospheres where people can belong.
