Layers of whats
left behind
waste into opportunity
This project turns waste into opportunity by creating a 3D-printing filament from recycled PET and fibers of the invasive Vilayati Babul plant. It questions the idea of PLA as truly biodegradable and instead focuses on reusing existing plastic, reducing the need for virgin material and supporting a more responsible end-of-life cycle.
